Primebar brought a big new concept to the old Palomino space. And when I say "big," I mean huge: 12,000 square feet, with 400 seats inside and 100 more on the patio that fronts Skyline Park and looks out on the 16th Street Mall, as well as bars in the front and the back. Primebar is billed as a "lodge-inspired" restaurant, and I guess it is — what with the faux deer heads along one wall — so I thought it only fitting to order the Mountain Mojito ($9), made with Cruzan Light Rum, Leopold Bros. Rocky Mountain Blackberry Liqueur, strawberries, blackberries, club soda and muddled mint and lime. A Colorado take on the classic mojito, it was large and in charge. Just like Primebar.
