Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
The latest bar to take advantage of Denver's rooftop-patio mania is The Irish Rover Pub. Manager Ashley Robertson says the wide-open deck is the product of one-and-a-half years of hard work and jumping through hoops -- but the final product is well worth the effort.
"People in Denver love rooftop patios," she says, "and we've got a breathtaking view, plenty of seats and a brand-new menu." Robertson also swears that you'll be able to catch a beautiful sunset while drinking your pint of Guinness.
And there's more to celebrate than just a new deck: The Irish Rover is offering 2-for-1 drinks from 3 to 7 p.m., and $3 beer drafts and car bombs from 9 p.m. to close.
