One of downtown Denver's newest architectural assets is the Spire, a skyscraping complex of sleek condominiums located directly across from the Convention Center. In addition to stylish condos, the building houses a handful of restaurants, including the posh Row 14, which holds down a corner street level spot.

And that's where I headed for this week's review, grabbing a seat at the bar one lunch hour and taking in the luxurious digs while sating my craving for a burger.

That burger was enough to convince me I needed to return to Row 14, and soon, to eat my way through the rest of chef Arik Markus's New American menu that's paired to owner David Schneider's comprehensive wine list.

How was that meal? Does Row 14 live up to the lofty environs of the Spire? Find out tomorrow, when the review is posted here.
