But the action will start before then: From 9 to 11 a.m. on July 9, two winners will execute the Sprouts Sprint, a two-minute shopping spree. and from 4 to 6 p.m. that same day, the new store will host local businesses, community leaders and Facebook fans for a sneak peak.

The festivities on opening day include coffee and muffins for everyone in line from 5 to 6:30 a.m.; there will be live entertainment, too. The doors will open after a 7 a.m. ribbon cutting, and the first 200 shoppers will get grocery bags filled with Sprouts items. Each customer will get one free reusable bag with a purchase; there will also be $1 deals throughout the store.

And the bargains will continue on Saturday, July 13, when the first 300 customers to make a purchase will get a coupon booklet for five free sandwiches; Boar's Head will be on site, handing out 500 free hot dogs to customers.
