Nothing can take the place of an actual trip to Italy to explore the language, culture and cuisine — but this is probably the next-best thing. Trattoria on Pearl, 1430 Pearl Street in Boulder, is hosting an Italian class tonight on the region of Sardegna. The syllabus includes a three-course dinner — one of which is prepared table-side, with the recipe included — plus Italian language and culture lessons.
Admission is $35 — much cheaper than a plane ticket across the pond — and you can make reservations at 303-544-0008. Another Sardegna-centric class will take place on Tuesday, November 17, and classes on the regions of Lazio/Roma are scheduled for November 19 and 24.
