The Infinite Monkey Theorem Winery, along with Peach Street Distillers, a Western Slope vodka, bourbon, gin, grappa and brandy distillery, will round out the libations at Black Pearl, 1529 South Pearl Street, the venue for tonight's wine and spirits dinner spearheaded by Black Pearl chef Kate Horton and Paul Reilly, chef at Encore, the sister restaurant to Black Pearl.

For $75 per person, excluding tax and tip, guests will enjoy passed appetizers and a multi-course dinner, which includes fish, cow, lamb, a duo of desserts and a "Jack and Jenny" truffle tasting. Reservations are limited to forty people; call 303-777-0500 to make yours.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
