Would-be visitors to Vita Restaurant, 1575 Boulder Street, were surprised to find the place dark this week. Thankfully, the situation was only temporary: Vita had closed last Sunday for a week's worth of renovations to the floor. The Highland spot reopens today, however, and will be serving up its recently revamped menu.
Fortunately, the work did not extend to the rooftop patio -- because if the weather stays as balmy as it's been, that could be the ideal place for a post-Thanksgiving Day escape. Especially considering the impressive happy hour: two-for-one deals on appetizers and wines by the glass from 3 to 6 p.m. Call 303-477-4600 for more information.
