On Saturday, June 30, chef Chris Starkus of Urban Farmer hosted the chef's demo at the Union Station Farmers' Market. His goal was to create three easy dishes to showcase the best of the season, including peaches from Morton's Orchard in Palisade, heirloom tomatoes and basil from Rocky Mountain Fresh in Bailey, greens and carrots from ACRES at Warren Tech in Lakewood, honey from Highland Honey in Boulder, bread from Denver's Hinman's Bakery, and steak from Corner Post Meats in Black Forest.
