On Thursday, March 19, Governor Polis posed with the State Capitol's custodial crew. These heroes are keeping the Colorado State Capitol and other state buildings clean, while helping to stop the spread of COVID-19.

It's been a long, hard week for Colorado's 43rd governor, Jared Polis. To his credit, he's led with quick responses and strong leadership during this time of crisis. He's even helped to spread the hashtag #DoingMyPartCO.

But this photo from the governor's website, showing Polis posing with the State Capitol's custodial crew to demonstrate correct social distancing, made us think one thing: Governor, please stop dressing like a supervillain! You're scaring the children.

This isn't the first time the millionaire-businessman-turned-politician has been called out on his choice of fashion. In 2014, GQ even offered the then-congressman a makeover, because had the "worst congressional style ever."

Does this seem like a cheap shot at the Colorado governor in a time of crisis? Sure. But we all need a good laugh. So here's our list of supervillains who may or may not have provided Polis's fashion inspiration.
