What started out as a five-month remodel for the Buffalo Restaurant & Bar in Idaho Springs turned into a year-long project, but the historic watering hole is back open — and it's even more of a pit stop for thirsty travelers now that it has opened up shared space with the Westbound & Down Brewing Company next door.
