Denver Burger Battle 2017
It was meat madness last night at the Denver Burger Battle, the annual throwdown to crown the burger king — or queen, as was the case this year — of Denver. Sixteen restaurants vied for the title at the Tivoli Quad Park on the Auraria campus. Victors were ticket holders who left with greasy chins and full bellies, but two kitchen teams also stood out. Newcomer Stanley Beer Hall took home the Judge's Choice award, while seafood specialist Stoic & Genuine earned the People's Choice. All photos by Danielle Lirette.
