Stanley Marketplace resolutely refuses to refer to itself as a mall, and while the idea of many different merchants under one roof certainly brings to mind the "m" word, this complex has a few very important tenants that differentiate it from the pink-and-teal edifices of the ’80s. One of those is the Stanley Beer Hall, the light, bright space at the corner of the Marketplace that opens onto an expansive beer garden. With an equally expansive selection of brews (standard styles like pale ales and saisons share space with a selection of nitro beers and sours) and a solid menu of substantial bar food (burgers, brats and a few mains), shopping at the Stanley is way more fun than it was when your mom took you to the mall to get new underwear.
