Ace Eat Serve Crowns Its Wings & Whiskey Champion

Ace Eat Serve hosted its annual Wings & Whiskey festival on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
There was a big flap at 501 East 17th Avenue on Sunday, June 10, as Ace Eat Serve hosted its annual Wings & Whiskey festival to benefit the Denver Housing Authority's Youth Culinary Academy. Chefs from Hop Alley, the Highland Tavern, FNG, Cho77, GQue Barbecue, Osage Cafe, the Big Red F restaurant group and Secret Sauce (Ace's team) brought their best wings, while ticket holders brought their appetites. Cho77, headed up by chef Ryan Gorby, took home the judges' choice for the best wings (for the second year running), and a wing-eating contest topped the evening's entertainment.
