This week is a bit light on concerts because of Christmas and all, but there are still some shows worth checking out before the New Year’s celebrations start kicking in over the weekend. Annie Booth performs A Charlie Brown Christmas tonight at Dazzle, while Bluebook, which recently released the superb EP The Astronaut’s Wife, is at Syntax Physic Opera. Chilean-American singer-songwriter Chris Bowers Castillo, who performs under the name Kiltro, is at Lost Lake, and Jim Lauderdale, who knows his way around country and Americana, is at Soiled Dove Underground.
