The Denver Film Society’s Reel Social Club took over Lakeside Amusement Park last Thursday for an evening of kidstuff with a sophisticated edge, which included a live DJ and an open bar (oh, and no kids allowed…). But Lakeside’s retro vibe, streamlined neon and old-school rides were the hits of the evening. Ken Hamblin shot these views of the old-fashioned fun, which you can enjoy for a few more days in September before Lakeside closes for the season.
