Blind Date With Democracy: Experiments and Conversations on Gathering

 The “Art of Being Many” is a new reason to get people together – bringing ideas, art and democracy into focus at one gathering. Join a local introduction of the movement at Counterpath, which will host a mini-conference with discussions,writing experiments, Senate hearing screenings and live performances. Summer Speaker Series: The Art + Life of Matt Sesow

Matt Sesow, a self-taught artist from Washington, D.C. has an interesting story about his life – and an even better outlook on life. Fresh from his exhibition at the Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, he’ll present some of his work as well as screen a documentary film about his life. Matt Sesow: Divide & Conquer opens at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 19, at VSA/Access Gallery.
