Jennifer Ito, executive director of Foothills Art Center, doesn't believe that males are as clueless when it comes to shopping as legend suggests. "That stereotype doesn't really exist anymore," she says. Still, she's sure there are plenty of fellas who would enjoy a little gift-giving advice and assistance as the holidays near, and this evening's Men's Shopping Night offers plenty of both. Volunteers will be on hand to help customers choose the perfect piece of jewelry, ceramic item, scarf or what-have-you from the workbenches of more than 160 artists. Gift-wrapping is also available, and as a bonus, beer from the Golden City Brewery will be on tap, with pretzels on the side. Even clued-in men should find the combination intoxicating.
