Elitists, Unite!

Bastille Day is the perfect reason to get your snob on.

Celebrate the storming of the Bastille and the official launch of ElitistHipsterSnob.com today at the EHS Bastille Day Party, taking place at the Meadowlark, 2701 Larimer Street. Why Bastille Day? Because no one is snobbier than the French, of course! Thrill to the sounds of fake French accents and DJ sets chock-full of musique Français by EHS co-founders Judy Jones (aka Daisy St. Patience) and Erin Barnes (aka Charlie Bangs).

Also included is a champagne toast commemorating the website's launch, along with performances by Everything Absent or Distorted and the Chain Gang of 1974. French costumes (berets, ridiculous mustaches, Jerry Lewis T-shirts) are encouraged, and anyone dressed up will receive a discounted admission. Tickets are $3 to $5. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., the bands start at 9, and the party goes until the bar closes. For more information, visit www.elitisthipstersnob.com.
