Dillo creates mixed-media boxes that obscure their contents with a sort of frosted glass; Burnett says they draw you in from across the room to try to see what's inside. Guthridge, meanwhile, uses paint and beeswax to create colorful, meditative pieces. "Both of the artists have this calming feeling," says Burnett. "I hope in this kind of hectic world that we live in that people can come in here and have this moment of contemplation. I hope it helps people slow down enough to where they can really spend time with the work and feel nourished by the work."
