I'm French and I can tell you that their pastries are really French and delicious!! If the owner was not so obnoxious, I would go every week... but she's so unfriendly!!! She even refuses to speak French, how weird is that?!!

Les Delices de Paris
The croissant at Les Delices are excellent — buttery, flaky, crisp and puffed just right so they collapse against the teeth almost before you bite into them. The brioche are delicious, the tartellet like tiny fruit jewel boxes. And owners Gerard and Christelle Donat certainly know their way around the big-ticket items — the cakes and display pieces. But for our money, the best way to celebrate the dawning of a new day is with one of the bakery's sugar-glazed, impossibly bittersweet citron tarts and a cream Napoleon, a completely impractical construct of flaky mille-feuille, pastry cream and sugar that's so good you'll be inspired to get up early just so you can get to Les Delices before they're all gone.

Ever eaten a croissant or pain au chocolat in a patisserie? or sat streetside in Paris and drinking a cafe au lait? Les Delices is as close as you are going to get in Denver. The pastry is as it should be and the cafe au lait is far better than anything you will find at Starbucks. There is a streetside table or two, unfortunately Leetsdale is as far from rue st-Dominique as you can get. Here is a hint: There are French people in Denver, they get their pastry at Les Delices. Let's see...Folgers and a danish? or Cafe au Lait and a pain au chocolat...you decide.
This place is fantastic - I am the hero of the day when I bring croissants to work! The owners are so incredibly nice, and the pastries are delicious. I was in Vegas this past weekend and thought that the croissants at the Paris hotel would outshine this little Denver shop, but they didn't! I've recommended this shop to everyone I know and will keep doing so!

OH PLEASE!!! those pastries suck!! If dry, stale and lack of flavor is what you desire than this is the place for you. I discovered a great new place that has the most amazing fresh baked pastries, including danish made from scratch. NO ONE in denver does that. go to Espressole Cafe in greenwood village, you'll see how amazing it is.
