The Centennial Tavern at Jonesy's closed on the last day of May after several months in business under that name — and several years as Jonesy's Eatbar before that. Or did it? Regulars and fans of the relaxed, neighborhood bar and kitchen will be delighted to know that the tavern isn't quite dead yet.

According to a June 10 post on the Centennial Tavern Facebook page, the joint will be open Thursday through Saturday until the end of June. Here's the complete message:
Alrighty folks!! We will be open Thursday through Saturday all June long from 3pm to close!! Serving up the The Horseshoe Lounge menu favorites and our house made sausages!! Come down and visit your favorite bartenders Ray, Amanda, Josette, and Joe!! The fun continues all month long!!
Not only has the tavern been serving menu items from the Horseshoe Lounge next door (which is also owned by Jonesy's original owner Leigh Jones), but the bar has also hosted a couple of live music events, which may also continue this month. So if you're jonesing for one last fling at the Centennial, you still have a couple of weekends to squeeze in a booty call.
