When the Broncos announced that Peyton Manning had signed a five-year, $96 million contract, the Colorado Tourism Office sent out a note asking if any local businesses were featuring deals or packages with a Manning connection that the state could market.

While Denver Applebee's and Lodo's Bar and Grill locations started offering Manning-priced specials for wings and beer, respectively, as soon as the Bronco news broke on Monday, Smashburger was the first restaurant to create a menu item specifically for #18.

The Denver-based chain announced earlier today on its Facebook page that its Colorado locations would start serving up the "Peyton Burger." Smashburger didn't determine Manning's favorite burger ingredients, but simply made a Bronco-centric burger and slapped the new star's name on it.

Manning's namesake consists of 100 percent certified Angus Beef, applewood smoked bacon, blue cheese, Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce, tomato and lettuce on an egg bun. The cheese covers the blue and the Frank's Red Hot covers the orange (get it!?).

Denver Manniacs can order the burger, but only off the secret menu by specifically asking for the "Peyton Burger." Smashburger didn't list a price for this, but somewhere between $.18 and $18.18 is a good bet.
