Stephen Tebo’s garage is a veritable cornucopia of collector automobiles. More than 300 of them sit inside, gleaming with the sheen of pride that only a true car lover can apply. A triple coat of wax doesn’t hurt, either.
Get a close look at the goods under Tebo’s hoods today from 4 to 7 p.m. at REV IT UP!, a ’50s-style cocktail party.
The local land developer began his collection 31 years ago and has amassed some of the most sought-after vehicles in the world. His personal favorites include a 1930 Pierce-Arrow, a 1948 custom-body Buick, a 1958 Chevy Impala, a 1956 Rolls-Royce and a 1954 Ford Fairlane — all of which are maintained in his Longmont warehouse.
Tickets are $75 per person (21 and over only) and include food and libations; to get yours, call 303-447-2848, ext. 147, or e-mail echoncha@specialtransit.org, and be sure to ask for directions to the undisclosed location. All proceeds benefit Special Transit, a Boulder-based nonprofit that promotes independence and self-sufficiency for people with limited mobility. For info, go to www.specialtransit.org.
