But in spite of the presence of Peter Gabriel, Sinead O’Connor, King Sunny Ade, Youssou N’ Dour and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, DiBango holds the spotlight throughout, thanks to compositions that effortlessly fuse African and Western-pop influences.
