Today and every Thursday through August 9, the Denver Pavilions transforms into the Urban Market: An Artisan Experience. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., vendors will offer up everything from farm-fresh fruit and veggies to baked goods and tamales along Glenarm Place on the 16th Street Mall. And from 11 to 9, the work of local artists in mediums ranging from ceramics to digital images will be on display.

If produce and art aren’t enough to lure you downtown, perhaps some great live music will. On Thursday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m., the Hot Sounds concert series rocks the mall. Tonight’s show features performances by Tami Nichols and Judge Roughneck, with other top-notch Denver bands, including Opie Gone Bad and the Railbenders, appearing in the coming weeks. For a full list, visit www.denverpavilions.com/hotsounds07.php. Admission to both the market and the concerts is free.

For more information, call 303-260-6001 or visit www.denverpavilions.com.
