Come down to Fancy Tiger, 1 South Broadway, with knitting needles, calligraphy pens or even that Bedazzler you have in the closet. It’s Craft Night tonight and every Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m., a time to get together and make pretty things and new friends. “Part of why crafts are so popular is because it allows people to get together and be creative together. Knitting by yourself at home is fun, but getting together and doing it with a bunch of your friends is what it’s really all about. People get ideas from each other, help each other,” says Jaime Jennings, who runs the night. All skill levels — from enthusiastic novice to master crafter — and projects in any medium are welcome. The best projects are displayed the third Friday of every month from 7 to 10 p.m. at a mini craft fair at the store.
