After successive runs at Rock Bar, where it was founded in 2008, Shag, Paris Wine Bar and the Meadowlark, where it eventually set up shop in 2010, the Mile High Soul Club is on the move again, this time to Beauty Bar on 13th Avenue. According to Tyler Jacobson, who launched the night shortly after leaving Lipgloss — the long-running club night he co-founded with Michael Trundle and Tim Cook — Mile High Soul Club had ultimately outgrown its most recent space. That said, the next edition of MHSC, which is slated for Saturday, February 2, will be at its new home — on a new night: Saturdays. That’s right. You can now get your soul fed by Jacobson, DJ DogBoy and Creeper Steve on the first Saturday of every month.
