Despite the fact that he’s the only original member, Billy Corgan has managed to keep the Smashing Pumpkins going year after year. Whether this is a good or bad thing is probably as endlessly debatable as whether or not the band is still relevant. With regard to the latter: the Pumpkins are selling out places the size of the Ogden Theatre with an emphasis on newer material. Nonetheless, as evidenced by Mlfolmar, who posted our comment of the day, not everybody who was on hand this past Monday was pleased with the ratio of new to old songs:
