When you already consider yourself an oenophile, and you know all the terminology and high-falutin’ talk, then wine tastings are simply fabulous, dahling.
But not everyone is so well-educated about the fruit of the vine — and sometimes, those tastings are prohibitively expensive for people who like wine but aren’t experts by any stretch of the imagination. That’s where tastings like tonight’s Wine Reception — hosted by Trios Enoteca, 1730 Wynkoop Street, and Trinity Fine Wine — provide a fantastic community service.
From 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, stop by Trios Enoteca to taste some of the critically acclaimed wines of California, including Matanzas Creek Sauvignon Blanc, Hartford Court Pinot Noir, Carmel Road Chardonnay, Murphy Goode Cabernet Sauvignon and Edmeades Late Harvest Zinfandel.
Admission is $15 to $20 and space is limited, so call 303-293-2887 ASAP to make your reservation. Drink up!
