$20,000

I’ve seen probably upwards of seven million shows in my lifetime, give or take five or six. In all that time, there’s been a ton that I’m grateful for having the chance to have seen — Mars Volta at Tulagi, the Killers at the Larimer Lounge, an unreal triple bill at the Coliseum featuring Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins. The list goes on and on and on.

All the same, there are just as many that I’ve been kicking myself for years for having missed, now legendary once-in-a-lifetime gigs that I either wasn’t old enough to even know about (much less attend) at the time (U2 at the Rainbow/U2 at Red Rocks) or just simply passed on for one reason or another (Nirvana at the Gothic, Jeff Buckley and Elliott Smith, both at the Bluebird). If I could rewind the clock, obviously there’s no way I would have missed any of those shows. What about you? Are there any shows you wish you could’ve seen? What are they?
