This Just In: New Concerts and On-Sale Dates

It’s the return of Furthur, always a perennial favorite in the Centennial State. The outfit, led by the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, returns to the 1STBANK Center for a three-night stand that kicks off on Thursday, February 21, and runs through Sunday, February 24, after playing the Ogden Theatre on Thursday, Febuary 21. Tickets for the Ogden show ($65) and the 1STBANK shows ($55-$65) go on sale this Friday, December 7, at 10 a.m.

With the passing of amendment 64 and a new radio station dedicated to playing round-the-clock odes to sweet Mary Jane, the timing couldn’t be better for a 4/20 show to take place at Red Rocks. And you can hardly pick a better batch of acts to perform on the Saturday, April 20, bill than Cypress Hill, Slightly Stoopid and Tribal Seeds. Tickets ($39.95 advance/$45 day of show/VIP $80) go on sale on Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m.

Fleetwood Mac is making its way back to Denver for a show at the Pepsi Center on Saturday, June 1. Tickets ($49.50-$149.50) for the show go on sale on Monday, December 17 at 10 a.m.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, who are set to release Push Away the Sky on February 19, return to the Ogden Theatre on Wednesday, April 3. Tickets ($45) go on sale on Thursday, December 6 at 10 a.m. While we announced the Kenny Chesney show a few weeks ago, his Saturday, July 20 concert at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, with Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Kacey Musgraves goes on sale on Friday, December 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $26.50-$225.
