The day is almost over, which means your Thanksgiving vacation has almost started. All you have to do is get through these last few hours without doing any work and blessed release will have arrived. Don’t worry, I’m here to help with this link to photos of Swedish dance bands from the ’70s. Marvel at the hair, the beards, the costumes. Ask yourself, how did they ever get so ridiculous? Is it the times? The fact they are dance bands? Their Swedishness? I don’t know. But I do know that when I sit in front of the turkey tomorrow, one of the things I will be thankful for is that they existed and the evidence still exists for my edification and immesnse delight. — Cory Casciato
