“No Jack!” yelled one of the bar mistresses to a drunk regular. “You can have a beer — one beer.” Then again, if your beer is a liter, which is what the guy sitting next to us was pounding, you may as well just drink Jack, or knock back a few shots of vodka, the spirit of choice for the guy who left the parking lot in dust when he rode off on his Harley.
