Four Mile Historic Park is a twelve-acre piece of the Old West left intact in the middle of the city. And tonight you can experience its rustic grounds under the moonlight, with food and drink in hand, while helping preserve its unique character.
The fifth annual Colorado Corks and Cuisine brings together Colorado wineries and caterers for an all-you-can-taste event to raise money for the park. Eleven caterers will offer just about every sort of food imaginable, from barbecue and stews to sushi and fancy desserts. Guests can enjoy unlimited wine tasting and wander around the barns, blacksmith shop and chicken coop at their leisure.
Colorado Corks and Cuisine takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Grant Hall at the park, 715 South Forest Street; tickets are $30, $25 for park members. Space is limited and reservations are required, so call 720-865-0815 to make yours. For more information, call the park at 720-865-0800.
