PizzaDoodle, a new pizzeria with a kid-friendly concept opened Wednesday in Centennial, right across from The Streets at Southglenn. And young ones are definitely the focus: there’s a colorful playroom and the kids are given dough, toppings and cheese so that they can make their own pizzas.
“We wanted to create a family-friendly feel and give options to a community that struggles with certain food problems,” says manager Ashlee Kisicki. In other words, PizzaDoodle offers gluten-free pizza, pasta and sandwiches, along with dairy-free, vegetarian, or vegan options.
The ‘Doodle’ in the PizzaDoodle moniker is owner Greg Kisicki’s effort to showcase the art of local students, from elementary to high school, on the restaurant’s walls, and even make it available for purchase.
PizzaDoodle is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
