In just four days, RTD buses racked up three collisions that resulted in four fatalities. The latest victim? Marvin “Chip” Webb, who was riding his bicycle in Lafayette when he was struck by a bus Tuesday night.
Webb, the owner of Chip’s Place, had worked at Chip’s Cafe, a diner at 103 North Public Road in Lafayette, until it closed last summer, then took it over and renamed it Chip’s Place. The place now boasts an impromptu shrine, the Boulder Camera reports, and will keep the coffee and donuts coming this morning as people remember Chip.
