Last month, Kris Sieger told us that future of Rockaway Tavern was up in the air, and that he was looking for potential investors and might even be up for selling the place. Looks like Sieger, who opened the bar in July 2010 with former 15th Street Tavern owner Myke Martinez and 3 Kings Tavern co-owner Jim Norris and had been running the place by himself after the other two were no longer involved, has decided to move on. The Rockaway’s windows are now boarded up, and the space at 2036 Broadway is for lease.
