In the two decades since Macy Sound Studios opened, the place has seen its share of the city’s finest musicians, in addition to prominent national acts like Los Lobos. As anyone who’s been there can tell you, the place is loaded with some sweet gear.
This weekend (from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8) the place is letting some of that gear go, as well as liquidating gear from a private collection during the studio’s first annual Pro Audio Garage Sale. There’s $5 cables, pre-amps, rack effects, microphones, keyboards, guitar amps and a lot more. For the the full list, check out the Macy Sound Studios web site.
