Reader: You don’t need to ride a cruiser to break the rules

With his post on why cruiser bikes suck, Josiah Hesse seemed to be cruisin’ for a bruising. And the hits just keep coming:

This is merely your opinion and you know what they say about opinions. Every person on this earth can be an irresponsible rule breaker if they choose to be. It has NOTHING whatsoever to do with whether they ride a cruiser or not. I live in a mountain town and I ride my cruiser every day, and yes, as my form of transportation. I do also ride in the winter on a daily basis. I guess you shouldn’t write a blog or article when you do not possess full knowledge to do so.
