Black Thought is the best rapper alive. Ok, so that’s a lofty statement. Still, in many hip-hop circles, there are few who would disagree. The frontman for the legendary, world famous Roots crew more than rocks the mike. He draws shapes with his words and paints a picture of clarity on a dizzying canvass. Sound dramatic? Maybe, but come see for yourself tomorrow night at Casselmans.
The show will feature performances from Lamp! Future Jazz Project, GirlGrabbers, and BLKHRTS. Black Thought will be performing with J. period, “The Live Mixtape” and BURNTmd. Tickets are $15 online ($20 at the door). Show starts at 7 p.m., you have to be of legal drinking age to get down.
