Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
Between fronting 16 Horsepower and Wovenhand, David Eugene Edwards has spent a fair amount of time touring Europe. Before opening for Tool recently on seven dates, including Red Rocks last week, Wovenhand was in Europe once again, where Edwards was interviewed on Radio Waves in Prague, Czech Republic.
The interview will be of particular interest to Wovenhand fans, as Edwards speaks candidly about the inspiration for The Threshingfloor, his band’s latest effort, released two weeks ago on Sounds Familyre. There’s also some live video footage of Wovenhand performing “Kingdom of Ice,” “Orchard Gate,” “A Holy Measure,” “Swedish Purse” and “Tin Finger” at Prague’s Palác Akropolis last May.
Edwards and company are back in Europe now for another jaunt before taking a few months off and then kicking off their North American tour at the Bluebird Friday, September 24.
