Dent offers sneak peek of new album

Dent, a respected elder statesman of hip-hop in Denver, has been toiling in the studio with his ace cohort, Noel Zancanella, putting together a brand-new album, the followup to his last release, the excellent Confi-Dent, which contained the feel good track “Sunshowers.” After the jump, check out a pair of clips of Dent holed up at Colorado Sound with Zancanella, laying down the vocals on a new track titled “Earthquakin’.” Although no date has been set for the release of the record, Dent is set to drop a pair of mixtapes, one titled The Greatest Songs You’ve Never Heard, and another devoted to J-Dilla.
