Tomorrow night, the Twins of Evil Tour pulls into Colorado for a show at 1STBANK Center featuring co-headliners Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, two of the more diabolical, intelligent and entertaining figures in mainstream music. Tom Murphy, our resident interviewer extraordinaire, recently spoke with both Zombie and Manson and had entertaining and enlightening conversations with each. Zombie talked about his time working on Pee-wee’s Playhouse and how “nothing matters but the show. I’m not on tour to party and fuck around, because I don’t want to hurt the show.” Manson, meanwhile, touches on everything from the Aurora shootings to the death threats he received post-Columbine to his friendship with a certain dearly departed Gonzo Coloradoan.
