In commemoration of it’s third consecutive year of Denver being the host city for their famed Bisco Inferno kick-off, the Disco Biscuits are opening up pop-up shop on south Broadway. The store will be JAM-packed with Biscuits merch and there’s a meet-and-greet with the band scheduled for tomorrow when the space opens.

The First Avenue Hotel houses El Diablo, Sketch wine bar, Body Lab and now, The Disco Biscuits pop-up store. On Wednesday, May 25 at 5 p.m., the Philly-founded band will be gathered in the store to celebrate the release of the ’09/’10 Bisco Inferno double-disc DVD, which will be screened at 7 p.m. The release event is free and open to the public. No catch. Just come by, check out sweet merch, meet the Biscuits, preview some footage from past Biscos and have a good time.

The in-store meet and greet is a great way to engage fans, but do the Biscuits need to do this? Maybe not, but it is a testament to how and why they have managed to stay on top of their game over the past sixteen years of touring and playing together. It may also have something to with the fact that every Bisco so far has been a complete success, showcasing and highlighting artists from all genres of music.
