So here it is, the first video from Matt Morris for his song “Live Forever” (directed by Matt Stawski, art by Serge Gay Jr.) Not sure if we quite understand the concept here, but we dig it. The clip finds Morris walking the streets of some non-descript suburban neighborhood, presumably in Southern California or perhaps South Florida. Not all that noteworthy at first, but then he passes one house in particular, gorgeously landscaped with bonzai trees in the front, whose windows suggest something wild is lurking inside. Next thing you know, Morris is immersed in the middle of a water-color Avatar-like forest amongst random objects floating in suspended animation.
