Fjallraven — Boulder Grand Opening
Thursday, December 12

Swedish clothing company Fjallraven, which specializes in outdoor clothing, will open its doors at 777 Pearl Street in Boulder today. The shop will also sell products from other Fenix brands, including Brunton, Primus and Hanwag. There will be Swedish cocktails and treats and a special discount on holiday shopping. Fashion Feast 2013 “Punk Rock Royalty”

A fashion fundraiser for Food Bank of the Rockies and Feeding Colorado, with designs from local designers and New York designer Geoffrey Mac’s Spring/Summer 2014 GMAC collection. There will also be a special guest performance by Sharon Needles, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race. All at Exdo Event Center, 1399 35th Street. Images of Hope Luncheon and Fashion Show

Images of Hope, now in its 41st year, will hold a fashion show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; over the years it’s generated more than $4.7 million for the advancement of maternal, fetal and neonatal healthcare throughout Colorado. All at the Broadmoor Hotel, 1 Lake Avenue in Colorado Springs; tickets are $75 at Newbornhope.org.

Sinfully Delicious Fashion, Food and Cigars

Creator of the trendy ACID cigar brand, Scott Chester, aka ACID, will make his first Denver appearance at CY Steak, for a dinner and late-night party. Chester will host a cigar dinner while presenting a fashion show with his wife, Evelyn Luna, founder of LUNA ALKALI clothing line. Restaurant proprietor Cliff Young and his chef, Doug Mace-have created a five-course menu to enhance the cigar tasting. Seating is limited; for reservations call Cliff Young at 720-327-7596.

Fashion Denver’s Holiday Market provides one-stop shopping for designer and beauty buys; there are also fashion shows throughout the day. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion, 770 Pennsylvania Street; admission is free.
