Great week for the Lumineers. While, granted, every week this year has probably been pretty swell for those folks, this one in particular in perhaps even more so. In the same week that the quaint outfit that got its start playing modest sets at the Meadowlark received word that its self-titled Dualtone debut was certified gold — on the strength of its breakthrough single, “Ho Hey”, which already went platinum — it also garnered a pair of Grammy nominations, one for Best New Artist against Frank Ocean, fun., Hunter Hayes and Alabama Shakes, and another for Best Americana Album against the genre’s mainstream progenitors Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons. Ho Hey!
