Although Spoon’s latest effort, Transference, didn’t have quite the pull it did the week it came out, it was still a strong a seller among local record stores for the week ending January 31. Magnetic Fields’ Realism, released last week on Nonesuch had a decent debut, and Vampire Weekend’s Contra continues to hold ground.
