This was bound to happen sooner or later, the day when Comment of the Day went meta on us. Friday’s comment of the day from Nick Hammerberg of Petals of Spain about The Foot.‘s cover of Adele’s “Rolling In the Deep” inspired a rather snarky jab at Adele from Hipi and how she’s overrated, to which Matthew Fecher (yes, that Matthew Fecher) put her success in perspective (the exchanged only devolved from there, though, with Hipi asserting that funny fat girls are in this year):
