Favorite accessory: I wear a lot of cuffs. I have an old Spanish coin I wear all the time, too. Anything that is handmade, I love.

Favorite color: Anything jewel-tone, but I love sapphire.

Style mantra: If it feels good, wear it.

Shops at: For work clothes, I shop at Banana Republic, anywhere that has that classic work attire. Clothes can come from anywhere, as long as I like them. A website I shop often is hautlook.com for fun clothes.

This cuff is one of Peoples’s favorite accessories. Peoples has observed, “Denver is different than Texas. I always hear that Texas girls take more time getting ready, and I like to take the time and dress up, too. But at the same time I won’t wear six-inch heels if I’m going to be walking around all day.”
These nude high heels feature a black heel, which is a variant on a new classic: the nude pump. This color, especially in ladies footwear, is a Denver trend for the spring. Here, the shoes match her nude purse and energetic yellow skirt.

Style analysis: Peoples maintains her southern belle heritage while revising it to meet her comfort standards. Her dress and high heels are both classic staples of womenswear, yet she tops both with a blue denim jacket, adding an air of causal elegance to the look and referencing her 2013 jam by Del Rey.

Always add your own sensibilities to your heritage to form your look, Denver.
